Each Background Evening we offer you a unique opportunity to gain deeper insight into the ideas and personal histories that shape the exhibition. For the Background Evening of Macho Mystic Meltdown: Subtracted Anthology , we invited stand up comedians, poets, writers, and spoken word artists to take the stage and explore different ways to deal with topics of masculinity , bodybuilding , absurdity , gossip , and transformation .
